A two-storey store located in Nakamise, Zenkoji Temple.
The first floor is a souvenir shop which sells handmade oyaki and other Shinshu specialties, while the second floor is a restaurant which serves handmade soba noodles made with locally sourced flour.

柏与紙店 Kashiyo Kamiten
This washi paper specialty store has been in business for over 190 years. They
carry a variety of Japanese products, including washi paper—a traditional Japanese craft — as well as origami, accessories, and other small items.

横文 YOKOBUN
This pottery shop was founded 140 years ago. In addition to a wide variety of pottery carefully selected by the owner, there is a Japanese garden at the back of the store where you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons.

A merchant store established in 1925 that was renovated into a restaurant. You can enjoy their creative cuisine and alcohol, which utilise fermented Shinshu products and local ingredients, in a casual setting.

A pottery shop with more than a century’s worth of history. Specialising in utensils for tea ceremonies, they also stock Japanese crafts, ramen bowls, sushi plates, soy sauce dishes, chopsticks and more.
The 30minute tea ceremony experience is also popular.
信州雪蔵熟成そば 音菜 Shinsyu Yukigura-soba OTONA
This is a special soba made by harvesting buckwheat seeds in late autumn at the foot of Mt. Kurohime, burying them in the snow, exposing them to the cold wind, and then milling them into flour.

Our store sells household tableware, commercial tableware, tea utensils, and matcha tea.
